Google Partners With Twitter: Time To Optimize Your Tweets

It’s official – Google is once again partnering with Twitter. In an announcement made this week it was confirmed by Twitter CEO that Google would regain full access to Twitter’s live feed. The agreement is said to be of a different nature than the deal established in 2009 that was latest ended in 2011. Partnering with Google will allow Twitter to have a much wider reach, in the hopes of continual growth and monetization in the coming years. (more…)

Mobile-FriendlyIn early 2014, for the first time ever, the number of minutes spent browsing on a mobile device surpassed desktop browsing figures. This statistic became increasingly important when examining habits of a typical mobile user. Instead of the usual metrics of users being online via their desktop devices during work hours, mobile devices with increased capacities now allow users to consume content on the go – whether it be during their commute, or during leisure hours. Last year Black Friday saw a quarter of all online traffic come from mobile, and that number is only expected to keep increasing.  As we head into 2015 it is clear that mobile-friendly sites should now be the priority for brands online.
